OUR POWER PROVIDES A MOBILE SHOWER UNIT FOR THE HOMELESS WITH DANGEROUS WEATHER CONDITIONS APPROACHING THEIR KNOW MAKING SURE THE PEOPLE THEY SERVE ARE SAFE. A LOT OF THEM LIVE IN ABANDONED HOUSES OR BUILDINGS THEY CALL THOSE BANDOS THEY HAVE SHELTER, BUT THERE’S THERE O IS OPEN THERE HAVE NO ELECTRICITY. NO WAY TO STAY WARM WITH EXTREMELY COLD TEMPERATURES EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT WEEK. THE SHOW WERE POLAR LEADERS KNEW THEY NEEDED TO DO SOMETHING. NO ONE CAN SLEEP OUTSIDE WHEN IT’S BELOW FREEZING. THE TEMPERATURES ARE INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS AND WE’RE TALKING ABOUT TEMPERATURES GETTING DOWN INTO THE TEENS, AND I CAN’T IMAGINE IF WE GOT WORD THAT WE DIDN’T FIND SOMEBODY AND THEY TODAY THE VOLUNTEER GROUP ....
Shower Power MS is restoring dignity to the Jackson Metro area one shower at a time. January 11, 2021 After Teresa Renkenberger developed a friendship with a homeless person named Benny, she discovered it had been a while since he had a good shower. From that day forward, Teresa had a vision for a mobile shower unit that would provide hygiene services to homeless people. Today, Teresa and her director of operations, Mary Ann Kirby, and countless volunteers and community stakeholders are restoring dignity to the Jackson Metro area one shower at a time with their motto: #GoBeLove.
