PRESCOTT – Cat owners will be given a year to get used to the idea that they must walk their pets on a leash while off their property.
Town council this week passed a new animal-control bylaw that covers cats as as well as dogs but delayed the cat provisions until January 2022 to allow for “public education” and to make residents aware of the new rules.
