KARACHI: Eight horses will make their presence felt in the July Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday. Classified under scale order IV and V, the race will go over four furlongs and it is fourth in racing order. Another half-a-dozen horses are pitted against each other in the next race which is also the day’s feature event and classified under combined scale order of I, II and III. It will also be run over four furlongs. Seven horses apiece will vie for honours in the first two races of lower classifications while nine horses are in contention in the third race. ....
