Pandemic restrictions add more fuel to drone demand

In the small town of Logan in Queensland, it’s not unusual for residents to have their morning coffee delivered by drone.
Logan is one of the pilot areas for Google s Wing drone program and the tech giant has partnered with local cafe Extraction Artisan Coffee to use its drones to enable people to get their morning caffeine hit.
Drone delivery service Wing has conducted trials in two Australian locations.
Cafe owner Alex Milosevic says while there were a few posts on local neighbourhood Facebook groups raising concerns about increased policing activity in the early days, most locals were now used to delivery by drones. ....
