“Frustration” and “disappointment” were once again the key words used by Wicklow TD Jennifer Whitmore, as she sought answers in the Dáil to the ongoing issue of a serious shortfall of school places for secondary schools in Greystones.
Greystones had the warmest of welcomes for local boxer Siofra Lawless, after she returned on Tuesday, December 5, from taking gold at the World Junior Boxing Championships, in Armenia. The Greystones boxer defeated India’s Scahin Shurshti Sathe by 5 – 0 decision to claim gold in the 63kg division.
