Wicklow TD Jennifer Whitmore has welcomed news of progress for Greystones Community College but has highlighted the plight of two other schools in the area still awaiting decisions on their building applications.
Parents in Greystones have been given much-needed relief with the announcement that one secondary school can now offer an additional 48 places for the school year that begins in September 2024.
Mr Harris was responding to questions about a report that more than 80 children across five counties are tutored at home because of their inability to secure places at local schools
