Ipcc report. you ve been involved in the whole process. when you look at that 2007 report, you are now saying that the data that was used to build this consensus in this report is flawed. what s wrong with it? well, i wasn t saying the data are flawed, they re just being misinterpreted. the surface temperatures that show the warming, they re telling us that something is warming but not because of the greenhouse effect by and large. what we find is that it s the development of the surface by human habitation and building of farms and so on like this that really is affecting the temperature record, not the greenhouse effect. you re saying that since the 1800s when they really started looking closely at this that development has changed the temperature readings that we get on the surface, but that s not an indication that the climate is actually changing? no. that that kind of pleasurement doesn t really tell us about the greenhouse effect about human-caused climate ....
