GUA MUSANG: About 50 Orang Asli from the Temiar tribe in Kampung Bujuk, Pos Bihai, had to build a temporary shed on a hill after their settlement was encroached by wild elephants.
GUA MUSANG: Approximately 10,000 Orang Asli of the Temiar tribe residing in seven settlements around this district have been cut off after the Kuala Betis-Gua Musang road was hit by multiple disasters including landslides, a collapsed bridge and floods.
GUA MUSANG: More than 20 Orang Asli families of the Temiar tribe, in four villages in Pos Hendrop, are stranded following a landslide, which cut off road links to the settlements.
GUA MUSANG: The Pos Pasik Orang Asli community is still gripped with fear after a pet dog’s carcass was found with scratch marks believed to have been inflicted by a tiger reportedly roaming around their village in Kampung Tendrik, Pos Bihai two days ago.
GUA MUSANG: An Orang Asli man was found dead, with one of his legs missing and having animal scratch marks on his head and body in the Pos Pasik forest area here on Thursday (Oct 5), believed to have been mauled to death by a tiger.
