CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio â Televangelist Ernest Angley has died at the age of 99, according to Ernest Angley Ministries. Pastor, evangelist and author Rev. Ernest Angley has gone to Heaven to be with his Lord and Master at 99. He touched multitudes of souls worldwide with the pure Word of God confirmed with signs, wonders, miracles and healings. He truly pleased God in all things, Ernest Angley Ministries wrote.
At the start of the service, the Rev. Steve Millar said Angley succumbed to failing health after a lifetime of service to God.
“Reverend Angley, because of his decline this past week, around 4:30 today, went to heaven,” Millar told the crowd.
Wailing and exclamations from various people are audible in the broadcast, but the individuals are not shown on camera.
“We know he’s in heaven now with his wife, Angel, and that was over 50 years ago,” Millar said.
Esther Lee “Angel” Sikes and Angley were married in 1943 and worked in the ministry together until her death in 1970.
