(PTI file photo) HYDERABAD: The Telangana government on Tuesday announced a night curfew from 9pm to 5am, till May 1 in a bid to control the second wave of the pandemic. The orders came a day after the high court pulled up the state for not taking any action to curb the spread of the pandemic. The state reported 5,926 new Covid cases, the highest ever in a single day, pushing the tally to over 3.61 lakh, while the toll rose to 1856 with 18 more fatalities. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued an order laying down guidelines for effective control of Covid-19 providing for states to impose local restrictions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 based on the assessment of the situation. ....
