Shiva Balakrishna, a senior government official, has been trapped by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) with alleged assets worth several crores of rupees. The ACB conducted searches on Balakrishna s houses and offices, leading to the discovery of illegal assets worth Rs 20 crore. The investigation is focused on verifying if the property owners have proper records of income to justify their assets.
Notices were slapped on Neemsboro group, Excellence Properties, Prestige Group projects, Urban Yards, Happy Dream homes, Seven Hills, Kavuri Hills, Rivendell Farms, Sumadhura Infra Projects and other companies for advertising their projects and pre-launches without RERA registration.
RERA Act: Sunil Chandra Reddy, president of Naredco Telangana, on Wednesday requested the central government to consider reduction of the penalty to 5% from 10% if the project is not registered under RERA.
Hyderabad: Among those served notices is Swargaseema Sandalwood Farms Private Limited in Cherukupally, near Shadnagar for selling residential plots under the name of Swargaseema Suketana and carrying out extensive publicity without RERA registration.
N Satyanarayana, chairman of Telangana RERA said the body was working on finalising the module and has roped in multiple stakeholders for the job. The objective: To add credibility to realtors who are often the face of a property deal.
