International White cane safety day celebrated in Kashmir - Scoop News Jammu Kashmir

Srinagar, October 16 (Scoop News)- On eve of World White cane safety Day 2022 A high level awareness programme about inclusive Election was organised at Zaiba Aapa Institute of inclusive Education Bijbehara. The programme was organised by Humanity Welfare organisation Helpline in collaboration with District Election office Anantnag. Deputy District Election officer Nazia Hassan presided over the programme.
Apart from Election officials Revenue officials of Tehsil Bijbehara, people from Public Works Department. Principals from government Higher secondary schools boys and girls Bijbehara and zonal Education officer Bijbehara were present in the programme.

Dr. Arshad Ahmad from DIET Anantanag gave the holistic view about ethical electioneering. He defined connectivity of millenium development goals with national education policy. He also gave knowledge about electoral process for persons with Disabilities under Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation ....
