Parenthood does for women and families, just to be clear, and why the federal funding is necessary and why it shouldn t be taken away. so i think that what cecilia is essentially trying to say is when you remove federal funding and women don t have access to contraception or legal and safe abortion, unsafe abortions happen. women die. that s what s going to happen. there s going to be an increase in the teen pregnancy rate. there s going to be an increase in the pregnancy rate for all women, and now we don t have access to safe and legal abortion services. again, abortion is an ideological debate but it s essentially a medical procedure that women should have access to based on what the supreme court has said. so i think we re in a particular moment where trump is trying to energize his base and that is definitely true in that evangelical set. but he s going to energize women who are already energized against this administration. so it s going to be interesting to see. that is a larg ....
