A newly named charter school company that operates Ocali Charter Middle School announced plans recently to add a high school campus, beginning with ninth grade in the 2022-23 school year. Teecy Matthews, the executive director of what is now called Clear Choice Academies, Inc., said the organization s board of directors is looking for property to house the middle school this fall and the high school in August 2022. Ocali Charter Middle School’s 159 students in grades 6-8 and 22 employees are currently housed in several storefronts in the Maricamp Square shopping center, 3233 SE Maricamp Road.
