our ability to be able to respond to that demand a really predicated on the number of individuals that we have to serve the business community. the san francisco business portal was up until this last year was being managed through digital services and we are not going to be doing any more technology enhancements to the business portal. much of what was being planned, it will now be service through the one-stop center at 49 south venice. we re talking about equity and the individuals that our business councillors serve. the highest percentage of who we counsel are businesses in their pre-start-up mode, which is very critical because this really helps the businesses know what is ahead of them so that they re planning early in advance of what are the city s requirements, connecting them to resources, so if they have not drafted a business plan, we re connecting them to one of our economic development organizations. to help them with that. if there s a need for access to capital
simply based on the long delays that the public has been observing with the work with public works. but we should have an update soon i would imagine. but, yeah, the timeframe i think that they re re-evaluating right now. there s been many of our smaller projects, however, that were not allowed to proceed during shelter-in-place and like neighborhood and traffic on main and the required work by actual work crews working together, they were deemed non-essential. okay, thank you. okay. commissioner safai. commissioner safai: thank you, chair peskin and thank you mr. tumlin. so i understand the fiscal outlook. can you talk a little bit more about what some of your adjustments would be if and when and hopefully the cares act passes and there s additional moneys that come down to the transportation agencies, because i know that you have to present the situation based on the funding scenarios that we have. but i also know that the state and the federal government are going

one of several housing bills approved by the state legislature earlier this month. this bill, sponsored by senators , mandates many elements in the planning process and forces by right approval for many projects. it has been amended many times. i have given up on trying to read it, and understand it. your work here looks like, you know, planning for dummies, so clear, so understandable when compared to the state legislature and the bills. it is unbelievable. i am asking you to help us understand what this means for the city of san francisco? i ve had to appeal on planning of projects, that have been proposed. i have worked with other neighbors who have wanted to help shape a project where there is elements that are impacting them personally. i know you see these every week, and i appreciate the time you take to listen to these, and resolve them. if we are subject to very mandatory deadlines and no slippage, we will not be able to, i think, achieve the compromises and changes
