CSPAN3 Key Capitol Hill Hearings March 19, 2015

I would simply say that from personal observation, i was in bud a pest in 1994 when the agreement was signed that the russians have violated, so im very alive to the the possibility that we had then and i think still need to stick up for of independent ukraine able to find its own way politically and economically is the only thing i would say. In the first instance it is terribly important that that occurment and occur. And the other thing i will say is that nobody should mistake that ukraine is a very important country to us. It is not a nato ally and i just want to make the point that as far as nato allies are concerned, that raises a whole other set of issues that i hope anyone who is considering encroaching upon a nato ally takes very seriously. In fact in 2000 the records reviewed by the

CSPAN Washington This Week March 22, 2015

I had the first interviews with the cuban five spies since theyve gotten released by obama. And we were able to put together a sevenminute video that ran on the web that had really great stuff. Both from interviews and walking the streets of havana with these guys who were celebrated as National Heroes down there. If i had to do that for one of the network news, it would have been, if i could have gotten two minutes, it would have been a real gift. But i was able to do something much more in depth, and much more satisfying actually. Jack if you just had the nightly news maybe you wouldnt , be able, they would want to make that investment. Brian im not sure about that but i know that we are encouraged, almost demanded of us, for instance, the story about th ....
