Antonio Nanni, professor and chair at the University of Miami College of Engineering, Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering, has been elected vice president of the American Concrete Institute (ACI). “To say that I am humbled (and excited) by this opportunity to serve ACI as a VP and, possibly, as the president in two years’ time, is an understatement,” Nanni said. “I am committed to advance the cause of the Institute and, as importantly, contribute to improving the quality and sustainability of the built environment.”
