The Asian American and Pacific Islander Student Center hosted a pop-up event in conjunction with the LGBTQ+ Center from 2–4 p.m. Oct. 21 promoting the fluid fashion closet. The fluid fashion closet is located in LGBTQ+ Center in Compton Union Building 401. The center accepts clothing donations and makes them available to all students for.
Culture, not costume. The Native American Women’s Association hosted their fifth annual Culture Not Costume workshop Oct. 18 with Anthony Brave, media studies assistant professor. During this workshop, various student organizations and Brave discussed how culture is not a Halloween costume and the significance behind traditional attire. Those organizations were Lambda Theta Alpha, Sigma Lambda.

The awards are given annually by the WSU MLK Program. Recipients will be honored during the WSU Black Excellence Dinner at 5 p.m., April 29, in the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center on the Pullman campus and will be livestreamed.
