Florida State juniors Frederick Kjettrup and Brett Roberts both fired 5-under par 67 to lead the third-place Seminoles in round two of the Watersound Invitational on Shark’s Tooth Golf Course in Panama City Beach, Fla.
FSU is 11-under heading into Tuesday’s final round. Vanderbilt is in first place at 24-under after shooting 15-under on Monday’s second round. Georgia Tech is in second place at 16-under.
Alabama is in fourth place two strokes behind the Seminoles and Mississippi State rounds out the top five teams at 4-under.
Kjettrup leads the tournament at 11-under after firing a 5-under 67 today after an opening round 66 yesterday. He had six birdies during round two and his only bogey of the tournament to date was a putt that lipped out on No. 7. He leads Georgia Tech’s Christo Lamprecht by one stroke.
