The Phoenix Suns Gorilla Inks First-Ever Pro Sports Team Mascot Endorsement Deal
Since arriving onto the scene 31 years ago, the Phoenix Suns Gorilla, otherwise known as “GO,” has revolutionized sports mascots by consistently pushing the bounds of showmanship.
Once more, GO is defining what’s possible in the industry by becoming the first professional sports mascot in history to secure an endorsement deal inclusive of select footwear, apparel and accessories, also known as “Gorillawear.”
Teaming up with Phoenix-based boutique shop Guest List, the Phoenix Suns Gorilla will soon challenge for the title of best dressed in the building, going toe-to-toe with the drip donned by the fashion-forward Suns roster.
Contemporary fashion designer Warren Lotas has created new styles for Phoenix Suns fans.
The collection is titled The Final Shot and is inspired by Devin Booker s game-winning shot against the Los Angeles Clippers last season. Booker s game-winning shot provided a spark for the suns while they were in the Orlando bubble trying to make the NBA playoffs last season.
Booker’s shot inspired Lotas to create “The Final Shot.”
Suns fans will get their chance to purchase the hard-to-find items as the team drops the t-shirts and hoodies beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Team Shop at Phoenix Suns Arena.
Ahead of tomorrow’s Dos Equis Chicano Night, The Valley’s original professional sports team, the Phoenix Suns, are debuting the Los Suns Apparel Collection, a fresh lineup dedicated to the rich history with the Hispanic community and its culture.
