As we were to first report online earlier today, General Motors is offering a free fix to thousands of vehicles, this is a direct result of a federal investigation into whether the car maker went far enough with its initial recalls more than two years ago. The investigation comes after an additional 128 gm owners complained to the national highway traffic and Safety Administration that their headlights failed, but their vehicles were not part of the recall. In one complaint the owner of a 2007 chevy trail blazer says he was almost killed when the low beam headlight went out while driving at night but the recall does not include his vehicle. The owner of a 2006 buck lacrosse said our headlights quick working and even the make, model and year of their car was included, their vin number was not in april, was called a recall query.
