NORRISTOWN â Angelique Hinton has the ability to integrate all of her work experience into every aspect of her life, including her role as the new president of the Greater Norristown NAACP.
âThey nominate those that they see as a potential leader and then they vote. I was honored to be selected,â said Hinton, who lives with her husband Reggie and their three children in West Norriton.
âMy NAACP work is limited to my jurisdiction in that regard, however the work that I do at NAACP is something that I do in all of my work, even on a personal level. Itâs always about empowering people to understand how we push our elected officials to do the things we need to make sure that we truly have inclusion and equality under the law. We need equity in all spaces ⦠education, housing, healthcare, but we also need equality under the law.â
