Wayne County accepting walk-ups at all its COVID-19 vaccine clinics

The Wayne County Health Department is adding two new COVID-19 vaccination clinics, one in Belleville and another in Flat Rock. The expansion will increase the County’s weekly capacity to as many as 20,000 administered doses between a total of four vaccine clinics.

Lisa Carolyn (Dibrell) Streckert, 69, of Brownwood

Lisa Carolyn (Dibrell) Streckert passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021, at the age of 69. Lisa was born in Brownwood to Frank and Betty (Wallace) Dibrell on May 7, 1951, the oldest of three children. She attended Brownwood High School, where she excelled in academics.  She was member of the Lionettes Drill Team and Acapella Choir as well as being voted Miss BHS and Football Sweetheart her senior year. After high school, Lisa attended Baylor University for a semester before postponing college to marry her high school sweetheart in 1970. In 1975, Lisa had her first of five children, and spent the next 15 years devoting all of her time and energy to raising her son and four daughters. After finding herself as a single mom in 1990, Lisa continued to work tirelessly raising her children, while also working full time and going back to college. In 1995, she graduated from Howard Payne University with degrees in Education and Accounting. From 1995 to 2006, Lisa was a first-grade teacher
