That’s my reaction to U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s recent comments about how to fund infrastructure costs. I suspect a lot of other drivers will feel the same way. In an interview with CNBC last month, Buttigieg said that a mileage tax “shows a lot of promise” as a means of funding infrastructure spending. ....
