Shares of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company plummeted 6.74 per cent to hit a low of Rs 553.15. Analysts largely have price targets in the range of Rs 590-700 for this stock.
MCX shares rose 3.36 per cent to hit a high of Rs 4,034.45 on BSE. Tata Elxsi was trading flattish at Rs 7,441.40 in a choppy trade. Indsec Securities expects Tata Elxsi to report 2.8 per cent YoY jump in profit at Rs 210 crore.
Tata Consumer Products reported a 22.53% fall in net profit for the quarter ended March 2024. Net profit slipped to Rs 267.71 crore in the last quarter against Rs 345.58 crore in the March 2023 quarter. The Board of the Company recommended a final dividend of Rs 7.75 per equity share of Rs. 1/-each fully paid up for the financial year ended March 31, 2024.
Under the deal, Tata Consumer will acquire 75% stake in Capital Foods, and the balance 25% will be purchased within 3 years, the Tata Group company said in an exchange filing.
