1st Nagaland Catholic Choral Fiesta on November 5

Our Correspondent Kohima, Nov. 4 (EMN): The Catholic Association of Nagaland (CAN) is all  set to present the 1st Nagaland Catholic Choral Fiesta with theme, ‘Una Fide Una Voce’ (One Faith One Voice) with 9 choral groups from across the state on Saturday from 4 pm onwards at Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima. The choral extravaganza which will also be organised as a competitive event carries a cash award of INR 2,00,000 for the winner; INR 1,50,000 for the 1st runners-up and INR 1,00,000 for the 2nd runners-up respectively. In addition, two consolation winners will receive INR 50,000 each. An audition was conducted in a region-wise manner from more than 55 parishes in Nagaland during the month of August wherein 9 choral teams from the districts of Kohima, Wokha, Tseminyu and Phek have been selected for the contest.
