starting with the big developments out of a hospital in gaza where thousands were seeking help and refuge. an explosion at the al ahli hospital right in the heart of gaza city is said to have killed hundreds according to health officials there. people sheltering in the hospital had fled 10 days of bombing by israel. the world health organization has condemned the blast, and called for the immediate protection of civilians. israel s prime minister, benjamin netanyahu denied israel was responsible, and blamed what he called barbaric terrorists . israel says its bombing campaign, is targeting members of hamas, responsible for killing around moo israelis last week, and a group designated as a terror organisation by the uk government and other countries. hamas has in turn blamed israel for the blast, and called it a war crime. here s our international editor jeremy bowen with the latest. loud blast the missile hit the hospital not long after dark. man shouts you can hear the
