Country faces huge shortage of nurses - Ummy
THE Minister of State in the President’s Office (Regional Administration and Local Government) Ummy Mwalimu has said as for now the country has a big shortage of nurses and medical devices, the situation that has seen nurses being subjected to complaints and even abuse from patients.
Ummy made the remarks on Wednesday during celebrations to mark International Nurses Day which was held nationally at Babati in Manyara Region.
The minister was representing President Samia Suluhu Hassan who was to be the official guest.
