By FANGORIA Staff · July 26, 2021, 3:05 PM PDT HORROR NOIRE (2021) Lots of exciting news coming out of Comic-Con this past weekend, one item we are particularly excited about Shudder s upcoming Horror Noire anthology feature. The narrative anthology is based upon the 2019 documentary Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror, which was based upon the Robin R. Means Coleman, Ph.D. non-fiction book, Horror Noire: Blacks in American Horror Films from the 1890s to Present. The movie will feature six segments comprised of stories centering on Black horror, created by Black directors and writers. ....
The Craft, Rae Dawn Chong ( Commando, The Color Purple), Selena Anduza ( WandaVision, The Haunting of Hill House, Swamp Thing) and Maria Sten ( Swamp Thing, Channel Zero). These amazing artists will provide us with first-hand insight into the effects and importance of diversity in cinema.
