The Daily Star ICT Awards 2020 Over the last five decades the export-led economy of Bangladesh has grown mainly riding on the apparel and textile sectors, because of a lack of product diversity. Now ICT and IT-enabled services have emerged as the most successful export products of the country as thousands of local experts, engineers and entrepreneurs in the sector have been thriving, defying all odds in business to serve both local and international markets.
