we ll give you all the details in just a few minutes. back to you. we ll take that sunshine. thank you, steve. the worst damage from yesterday s wild weather appears to be northwest of washington in the town of i m sorriville, maryland. residents say they saw and heard the storm coming. this morning they re getting a better look at the damage left behind. craig melvin has the latest from frederick county. i kept hearing trees crack. they were cracking wherever. reporter: the afternoon storms surprised them it. was like trees going by. we ran in the shop here. reporter: his 14-year-old daughter mary huddled inside with her worried friend. my friend was crying. we called her mom. she thought her dog died. reporter: her dog were find and so were all the people, but the winds picked up huge bales of hay and crashed them into fences across the street. those same winds toppled trees on to trucks and turned cathy s once picturesque backyard into a work zone. ....
