The La Crosse Bar & Restaurant Relief Fund awards grants to 7 area businesses
Raising money to help local bars and restaurants survive economic hardship

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) In March 2020, the Sprout for Kids Foundation and Pearl Street Brewery announced the La Crosse Bar & Restaurant Relief Fund in response to the initial covid shutdown.
Pearl Street Brewery owners Tami Plourde and Joe Katchever created the fund to raise money for area restaurants and bars with 100% of the proceeds going toward grants for La Crosse area bars and restaurants who have suffered hardships during the pandemic.
The project raised $26,225.93, with $3,746.57 going to each entity, all applicants that applied received funding.
