The Center for Biological Diversity and Delaware Riverkeeper Network petitioned the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control today to end commercial collection of the state’s common snapping turtles. Conservation groups filed a petition today with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to protect the thick-leaf bladderpod under the Endangered Species Act.
