FIVE Kepayan rate-payers were compounded by City Hall during an operation carried out in Taman Ridgeview Phase 12 recently.
A City Hall spokesman said three motorists, whose vehicles had encroached on the housing roads, were found to have contravened the agency’s parking by laws.
He said a home-owner was also penalised for the haphazard disposal of garbage, including biscuit and oil tins, in the common area near his/ her home.

“Another individual was compounded for turning his/ her yard into a warehouse for spareparts and erecting illegal structures,” he said.
