PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has detected 13 new Covid-19 clusters in the past 24 hours, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today.
In a statement, he said 11 of them were workplace clusters, while the remaining two were community clusters,

Four of the clusters were detected in Johor, three in Selangor, two in Kuala Lumpur and one each in Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Sabah and Sarawak.

PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported 4,008 Covid-19 cases and 11 deaths in the past 24 hours, the second time the number has crossed the 4,000 cases mark.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 2,374 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 127,662.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 169,379. There are 41,087 active cases with 246 patients being treated in intensive care and 96 requiring respiratory assistance.

Meanwhile, the 11 deaths bring the number of fatalities to 630.
The 11 deaths involved nine Malaysians – six men and three women – as well as two foreigners, both of whom were women.
