Sky hike broadband, TV and home phone prices by up to £72 per year - have you been affected? Millions of Sky broadband and TV customers will be hit with price hikes of up to £72 a year from this month onwards. Many of the hikes came into effect on April 1, but customers may be able to leave the provider penalty-free or haggle down their bill, so it s worth checking if you can save by switching. However, if you’re still on a good deal, think about staying where you are as most firms are raising prices anyway.

The price increases are quite complicated, hence why Sky is emailing customers individually. Price hikes will differ depending on the deal you have, when you signed up to Sky, or whether you have a special offer or discount applied to your account.
HERE S HOW MOST OF THE PRICES WILL BE AFFECTED
The entry-level Sky Signature telly bundle increases from £25 to £26 a month. The Multiscreen add-on, which lets you watch Sky in multiple rooms around your home, will rise from £14 to £15 a month
The High Definition add-on, which adds HD and UHD streaming and channels, increases from £6 to £7 a month.

Sky has confirmed plans to increase the cost of its satellite, broadband and home phone plans for millions of customers across the UK from April 1, 2021. Prices could increase by as much as £72 a year, although Sky claims most customers will only see rises of around £3 a month, or roughly £36 a year. As you might expect, the change in your Sky bill depends entirely on what products you’re paying for and when you signed-up.
