While reading the recap of the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite on this site, I noticed something I found strange in the article. The author mentioned that he wasn t very familiar with KENTA s work. I thought this was odd because I, as a mark for Japanese wrestling in general and KENTA s work in particular, thought he was much better-known in the west. When I asked the comment section if they, like the author, didn t know much about KENTA, it seemed they mostly also didn t know much. I decided to throw this Fanpost together quickly to give a brief history of KENTA s wrestling career and link to some of his classic matches to give people both context on him and a taste of his work. ....
