Roles and taking on a different persona it is uncomfortable. i don t think it would be true today but it was true 20 years ago. now, we all run our mouths about how precious this family tradition is. but suddenly when it is at my house i am the only one that can make time for it? soul food, tv series, another show that influenced a culture. shout out to tillman that did the movie. i love the movie soul food but then it spun off into a tv series. you think about it, it is about the dynamics with a black family. it made a lot of people connected to their families, girlfriends, to the drama and all of the craziness that us color folks deal with. you know, there is always going to be somebody in soul food you can connect to. as black families we are not just one thing we are many things. that is actually what television should be all about. ....
