ODM nominated MCA in Taita Taveta County Assembly Joyce Mwangoji died this morning as she was being rushed to a hospital in Voi town.
Mwangoji is the sister of former Taveta legislator Mwacharo Kubo.
She becomes the third female legislator to die in office in the past year.
Beatrice Mwabili, the immediate former Wundanyi-Mbale ward representative and the only female elected MCA in the 2017 general election succumbed to gallbladder cancer in March last year while undergoing treatment in a Nairobi hospital. ....
