身材健碩的40歲賴姓男子，因常到健身房運動，深知業者不得在更衣室內設置監視錄影器，便起意伺機偷盜民眾放在置物櫃內的物品。他出入各處健身房作案時，還會刻意假裝打電話遮掩臉面。台北市刑警大隊肅組經匯整報案資料，追查百餘個監視畫面，終逮獲賴嫌。初步清查涉及雙北市逾30起竊案，現仍擴大偵辦中。北市刑大肅竊組是分析近期治安狀況，發現自今年1月起，至防疫三級警戒期間，陸續有民眾在健身房運動時皮包、現金等財物遭竊。警方依犯罪態樣、地點及手法加以分析，發現被害人皆是在大型連鎖健身房運動時，更衣室上鎖置物櫃內包包或現金遭竊，犯嫌鎖定更衣室隱密並亦無裝設監視器，警方難以追查，食髓知味才連續犯案。
