新冠疫情導致6月中開始量產的台南芒果滯銷，在地議員周奕齊6月30日直接在玉井青果市場買2000斤芒果贈送警察防疫人員，台南市議員陳昆和也跟進，7日上午至玉井買4000斤芒果分贈企業友人，希望大家共襄盛舉，直接至產地買芒果送親朋好友。
周奕齊表示，今年芒果因乾旱果實偏小，品項好的芒果在政府多方行銷下，外銷、電商、宅配銷量增加、價格回穩，但青果市場還有很多傳統老農、小農以擺攤販售為主，因疫情市場遊客大減，還是需要大家幫忙。
陳昆和7月6日特地前往了解玉井青果市場了解果農產銷狀況，7日上午直接請服務處同仁開來大車，準備購買4000斤芒果，並且分散向多名果農購買，一大簍的愛文依品項只要300至500元左右，果農都非常開心。
