SHINee Taemin Worries Fans with Alleged Weight Loss upon Enlisting in the Military
On June 15 KST, the Korea Army Training Center shared photos that feature their new recruits who enlisted for their mandatory military enlistment, and among these recruits is SHINee s very own Taemin!
In the shared photos, the new recruits and SHINee Taemin can be seen a black shirt and shorts, along with socks and sandals as they sit down in a row.
While sitting down and posing for the camera, SHINee Taemin and the recruits were each holding up a syllable that, if read together, spells out as To our parents, we love you.

SHINee Taemin is set to make a solo comeback with a new album, Advice, before his military enlistment at the end of May.
On April 19, the Don t Calle Me singer made a surprise announcement that he will begin his mandatory military service on May 31. Taemin is the last SHINee member to enlist. Prior to his military enlistment, he has prepared new music for the fans.

On May 2, SHINee member Taemin conducted his solo online concert titled Beyond Live: N.G.D.A (Never Gonna Dance Again), where he sang his solo hits. He even premiered his new title track Advice from his unreleased third mini-album of the same name.

On Monday, Apr. 19, Taemin held a solo live stream on Naver V Live titled Thank you for the last 13 years. The live stream, which went on for about 45 minutes, was the male idol s way of saying goodbye to fans before his military enlistment.

During the broadcast, Taemin revealed to fans that he would be enlisting on May 31. This means that he would be taking some time away from the industry to focus on his military duties. Taemin revealed that there were a number of things he wanted to tell the fans, but the most important thing he wanted to say was thank you.
