Pittsfield Tree Lighting Goes Virtual This Friday As times continue to change in the year of COVID-19, annual events, especially holiday traditions, have had to get creative. Every year crowds gather to see the City of Pittsfield light the holiday tree in Park Square but this year the event has gone virtual. PCTV and Pittsfield Parks Recreation are thrilled to announce the City of Pittsfield Park Square Virtual Tree Lighting. The show will air next Friday, Dec. 11th at 6 pm on PCTV Access Pittsfield Channel 1301, PCTV Select, and on our Facebook Page. Santa and Mrs. Claus will host the show, which will feature the Pittsfield High School Band, Kids 4 Harmony, and the Taconic High School Chorus. ....
