A new informal online running group in southern New Brunswick is helping runners stay connected and motivated during the pandemic.
Founder Abby Pond says the nascent Facebook page has already attracted over 30 runners from a variety of areas such as Grand Manan and Campobello.
Pond says she started it because it’s been difficult not attending events and races.
“I have been isolated from people so I have been looking for ways to connect and for motivation to keep my self going during the restricted phases we have been going through.”
