In Albay, the University of Santo Tomas here produced 96 new lawyers; Bicol College, 15; and Tabaco College, two. In Masbate City, the Southern Bicol Colleges produced six new lawyers, while the Aemilianum College Inc. in Sorsogon City produced 14 new lawyers. In Camarines Sur, the school administration of the University of Nueva Caceres congratulated its 137 new lawyers in a social media post, even as the Ateneo de Naga University took pride in its 26 new lawyers. Of those who passed, 14 obtained "excellent" grades (higher than 90 percent), representing 0.17 percent of passers while 761 obtained "exemplary" grades (85 percent to 90 percent), or 9.23 percent. This year's exam was the first in two years since the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, the first to be held in various sites, and the first that used digital means, with examinees in 29 local testing centers nationwide bringing their own laptops.
