Updated: 4:57 PM EDT Jun 9, 2021 Greenville County Sheriff’s deputies have made an arrest three days after a woman was shot inside a car.Lt. Ryan Flood said Kingsley Mikal Goldsmith, 34, of Greenville, was charged Wednesday with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.Flood said the shooting happened early Sunday morning on Norwood Street.Investigators said Goldsmith shot the woman after she refused to exit his car. Warrants said Goldsmith shot the woman in the leg with a handgun before running away from the scene, leaving the injured woman unattended.The woman, who knew Goldsmith, was taken to the hospital where she is listed as stable and is expected to recover, according to Flood.Goldsmith remains in the Greenville County Detention Center, awaiting a bond hearing, Flood said. ....
