Governor Newsom Announces Appointments Sacramento, California - Governor Gavin Newsom today announced the following appointments:  Jeffery Scott Christman, 50, of Roseville, has been appointed Chief Deputy Director of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. Christman has been Deputy Director for the Center for Health Statistics and Informatics at the California Department of Public Health since 2020.
