Grant Gustin Reportedly Thinking Of Leaving The Flash After Season 8
The Flash is about to be hit by the loss of two of its original cast members, as both Tom Cavanagh and Carlos Valdes have been announced to be exiting the long-running CW series once its seventh season concludes. It’s raising questions of how long the rest of the main team will remain aboard, especially star Grant Gustin, and according to a new rumor, it’s possible that the Scarlet Speedster himself may be bowing out of Central City after one more run.
Insider Daniel Richtman has claimed that Gustin might exit
The Flash Season 7 Set Photo Reveals First Look At Impulse
Work is now underway on a milestone episode of
The Flash. The CW series is currently shooting its 150th outing, which promises to be super speedster-focused. Not only will it bring back Nora West-Allen/XS (Jessica Parker Kennedy), but it’ll introduce her brother – Barry and Iris’ other child, Bart Allen AKA Impulse, as played by Jordan Fisher.
Fisher was announced to have landed the iconic comic book role back in March, and now we’ve got our first glimpse of the actor in costume as Impulse. This pic comes our way via Canadagraphs, who snapped the actor on the streets of Vancouver. It’s not the clearest look at Central City’s newest hero, but it’s enough to excite fans. And going by what we can see, it seems the show will use a very comic-accurate version of Impulse’s outfit, complete with a red, white and gold color scheme and even his yellow-tinted goggles.
Arrowverse Fans Devastated Over The Flash Losing 2 Original Cast Members
Today’s brought some sad news for
The Flash fans, as it’s been announced that two cast members who’ve been with The CW show since the very beginning are leaving in season 7. Carlos Valdes, who plays Cisco Ramon, and Tom Cavanagh, who’s embodied the various different Harrison Wellses, are set to exit the DC series later on this run. And seeing as these two are among the most beloved characters on Team Flash, Arrowverse fans are devastated over the news.
Cavanagh, who’s not been seen since 7×03, is thought to return for episodes 9 and 10 with his final appearance being kept as a surprise. Valdes, meanwhile, who’s increasingly taken a back seat in the storylines over the past couple of years, is believed to see out the rest of this run. There are no current plans for either to feature in the next season of the show, but the possibility is there for them to come back in a guest capacity.
