STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. As St. Sylvester’s R.C. Church marks the 100th anniversary commemorative of the Concord place of worship next month, organizers of the centennial events are searching for parishioners past and present to partake in upcoming celebrations.
Led by the Rev. Jacob Thumma, pastor of the Concord church, Joe Messineo, Eileen Kavanagh and Neale Steiniger, chairpersons, and committee members Janet Samuel, Pat De Respino, Carol Davila, Peter Tesoriero, Joy Przybyla, Lynn Giordano, Nicole Amitrano, Pat Bertolini and Carmela Girardi two major milestone events are on the horizon.
