ANN ARBOR, MI – A man found guilty of shooting a man for allegedly spreading sexual rumors about his girlfriend has lost his first appeal to the state high court.
The Michigan Court of Appeals issued a ruling Thursday, Dec. 17, upholding the conviction and sentencing of James Tremaine Freeman who, following a bench trial, was found guilty of second-degree murder, felony firearms and carrying a concealed weapon. ....
